dc.description.abstract How do we determine which buildings are significant? How do we assess the value of a place? This project looks at the way in which we determine the value of a building, in particular the currently controversial Herd Street Post Office. Various aspects of the building's existence are investigated and determine the basis upon which assessment is made. In the process, the relationship between fact and value is examined. en_NZ
