dc.description.abstract This report looks at where New Zealand's architectural ceramics traditions come from, and where they are going. The old and new production methods are explained and illustrated, and the present day 'state of the art' in New Zealand is described. This involves an historical background of the ceramics industry in this country, and case studies of several craftspeople making architectural ceramics. To conclude the report, statements from people within the industry at different levels are summarised to give an impression of where they think the New Zealand architectural ceramics industry is heading, and what the future holds. en_NZ
