dc.description.abstract This research report presents an overview of the Wellington architectural partnership of King and Dawson since its establishment in 1906. My study concentrates on a seventyfive year period from 1906-1981, and an evaluation of the contribution that King and Dawson have made to both the Wellington and, more generally, the New Zealand architectural scene. It focuses upon the extent of their contribution, what they have achieved, how they have achieved it, and those who were responsible. en_NZ
