dc.description.abstract This report has two main features to its composition. Firstly it is a study of the operation of the Urban Form Advisory Group which was established by the Wellington City Council in March 1987. Secondly it studies the proposals put forward by this Group. (Proposals to mid - October 1987). Sections One and Two provide an introduction to the topic along with a description of the methodology used for this report. Sections Three, Four and Five give a background to planning in Wellington with a description of the current position along with a detailed description of the Advisory Group. Sections Six, Seven and Eight describe the outcomes of the present use of the Advisory Group and takes a brief look at their recommendations. en_NZ
