dc.description.abstract The collection comprises ten genera (of which one is new) and ten species. Neopsolidium n.g., type species Psolidium convergens (Herouard) has dorsal deposits in the form of small perforated plates up to 0.4 mm in diameter, and cups. The holothurian fauna of southern Chile is generalised, containing few restricted species, and sharing many elements with distant subantarctic islands and with Antaretics. en_NZ
