dc.description.abstract This report takes six houses designed by Hawkes Bay Architect John Scott as case studies to examine and illustrate themes in his domestic architecture. The houses studied are: 1. Bishop House : Waipukurau 1956-58 Renovated 1981-82 after major fire, designed with Jane Bishop, B.Arch. 2. Pattison House : The Brow, Waipawa 1966-68 3.
