This report takes six houses designed by Hawkes Bay Architect John Scott as case studies to examine and illustrate themes in his domestic architecture.
The houses studied are:
1. Bishop House : Waipukurau 1956-58 Renovated 1981-82 after major fire, designed with Jane Bishop, B.Arch.
2. Pattison House : The Brow, Waipawa 1966-68
3. Barron House : Taupo 1974-76
4. Lawson House : Waipukurau 1976-78
5. Apatu House : Ngamatea Station 1980-84
6. Jull House : Waipawa 1981-82 |
