With the knowledge that my research could involve the First Professional year Architecture School student group through their Design and Colour Workshops, my research topic became clearer. I had the opportunity of watching the subjective design process before colour 'lessons' were introduced and examining the creative products before and after the colour awareness and rationale sessions were held.
I saw this opportunity for research as the centre of a discussion into two realms of colour design - subjective and objective and then further, through the investigation of these two forces, in the student's work and in the commercial environment. |
