dc.description.abstract This report consists of four parts which can be read as a whole or separately when used as a guide for noise control design of offices. The first part looks at noise control procedures and guidelines which have been proposed by various authorities and from this review, a noise control guide for office design will be proposed. The second part looks at those areas unique to the achievement of a suitable noise climate in the office to prepare the office designer for the noise control work about to be undertaken. The third part proposes a guide for the design of noise control in the office. This guide parallels the architectural "Plan of Work" and gives guidance on noise control as the office designer works through the plan. The final part consists of data for design work and computational examples using this data. A manufacturers directory is also included. en_NZ
