dc.description.abstract |
The field of computer aided architectural design is surveyed, and the benefits and limitations of the different approaches are discussed.
A new approach to architectural design with the use of computers is described, and placed in the context of existing work.
The new approach relies upon the use of a hierarchical-modular model for the built environment, and the use of controlled chance in the generation of form. |
