dc.description.abstract This Research Report investigates the design for fit of precast concrete cladding panels, the aim being to ascertain how adequately design for fit is handled by designers. This Report achieves this aim by investigating types of inaccuracy which exist, causes, recommendations contained in standards, reviewing documented case studies and conducting two case studies. It is concluded on the basis of this Report, that design for fit is not based on any sound rationale, and is inadequately handled by designers. en_NZ
