dc.description.abstract This research study was set up to evaluate the 'users' use of outdoor spaces in a single multiple family housing development, and to examine both the social and the physical framework required to allow these spaces to work. The development chosen for this study is 'The Triangle1', Churton Park, Wellington. In this study, the residents use of, and feelings towards, their outdoor spaces was established through personal interviews. I have examined the responses, and their architectural implications in this research report. en_NZ
