dc.description.abstract This research report on design problems in the hot-humid climate is divided into four sections. The first is a survey on the climatic conditions in the hot-humid zone. The next is to define the measures and aims of requirements for comfort. This is followed with studies on the effects of climatic influences on buildings and their control. Finally, the results are synthesized and adapted to architectural expressions. en_NZ
