dc.description.abstract Literature in the field of information sharing between public sector agencies suggests many barriers. The report presents an in-depth analysis of inter-agency information sharing practices in the Maldives public sector with research findings suggesting the perceived barriers and enablers of information sharing. Barriers found include agency insulation, lack of trust in the information, staff resistance and so on. Among the enablers were democratic reform, political leadership, and facilitative management. en_NZ
