dc.description.abstract The infra red spectrum of ethylene sulphide has been measured in the gaseous phase and solid state as a low temperature crystalline film. The assignments are in agreement with those previously published by Brumant. A general harmonic force field has been derived using cyclopropane as the initiating model. Thermodynamic data has been calculated and a new three dimensional pictorial method of presenting the normal modes has been developed. en_NZ
