dc.description.abstract |
The dissolution rates of gypsum and anhydrite were studied at 25° using a rotating disc of the solid material, and the kinetics followed by means of a calcium ion-selective electrode. The dissolution rate of gypsum was observed to be transport controlled, and the observed dissolution rate agreed with the calculated value, while the dissolution of anhydrite was an intermediate type reaction. |
