dc.description.abstract |
From the acetone extracts of the heartwood of B.tawa, β-sitostanol has been isolated. Similar extracts of the bark have yielded one phenolic and two neutral compounds. The phenolic compound is so far unidentified. Of the two neutral substances, one is probably triterpenoid and the other is β-Sitosterol. |
