dc.description.abstract This paper is an account of studies made on a previously unrecorded fungus growing on Leptospermum J.R.& G. Forst in New Zealand and Australia. There were two principal aims in the work. 1) To study in detail, for purposes of description and classification, the morphology of the fungus, both on its host and in culture, 2) To determine the nutritional relationship of the fungus with its host. TYPE MATERIAL. Table I lists the host collections used as type material; the alphabetical designations are for use in this paper only and will be replaced by herbarium numbers when these become available. en_NZ
